// Work

Like most ‘creative’ people, I’ve had a non-traditional career path. I currently work in the creative world at a boutique digital brand management and innovation shop called Electric Artists. I am also affiliated with All day Buffet and in particular, the social innovation conference, The Feast.

My prior work experiences have included founding the first, crowd-sourced social-media based website for a credit card company, writing and reporting for InStyle, Zink and Lucky magazines and assisting two authors with research for branding and marketing related books.

Since graduating , I was a reporter at InStyle and Lucky magazines. Additionally, my career path is punctuated with consulting gigs at Whole Foods (Austin), Sense Worldwide (London), The Future Laboratory (London), Juniper Park (Toronto), POKE New York (New York), and Ogilvy PR (Washington DC).

I grew up in Bombay, India and studied magazine journalism and communications at Temple University, Philadelphia. I’ve been lucky enough to have an opportunity to work across all media platforms in diverse roles across diverse industries. This has primarily been via the connections I’ve made via my blog. (I’ve been blogging circa 2000 - before it was even called blogging. - so I am a huge believer of this medium.)

I believe in a set of values I cannot live by. I set high goals for myself, I seek perfection, dream of exotic faraway places. But ultimately, what I long for isn't far away at all. Its in my own backyard. Imperfection charms me, familiar things move me... a celebration of what we have, instead of what we long for- that for me, is glamor. -Isabella Rossellini
