Open Advertising

I participated in AEF’s Open Advertising Initiative along with some other cool minds in this space. Check out the NYT article and the video on Open Advertising
In 2011 and in 2012, I was invited to be one of six industry nominators for TED’s Ads Worth Spreading Initiative. I was paired each time with a renowned TED Speaker and assigned a category to nominate ads for. Creativity Magazine wrote about it here.
Founded in Nov’ 2008, Dsplaced is an experiment in collective storytelling. It is an exploration of human belonging – to a city, a country or even oneself. Through voluntary submissions, Dsplaced illuminates a universal palette of emotions that individuals often spend a lifetime trying to decipher. (This project coughs and putters and moves ahead – we are constantly trying to figure how we can make it more impactful and how it can continue to grow – if you have any ideas, we’d love to hear them!)
Another Letter Unsent
Founded in December 2010, Another Letter Unsent is a post-secret like project that allows anonymous senders to send letters they never sent. Unfinished proposals, incomplete apologies and untold stories.
Project 3Six5
Early 2010, I participated in a collective group story-telling experiment called Project 3Six5. Everyday for the 2010, a different individual will write an entry about their experience that day. The goal is to create a snapshot of the entire year, told from the perspective of 365 individual voices. My entry was published on January 11, 2010 – my father’s birthday. The founders hope to publish this life-stream as a book – a crowd-sourced journal of 2010.
